Marketing & PR Manager
During my time managing the music group Filler, I gained strategic and analytical experience in the music and entertainment industries. I made marketing decisions by segmenting our market and creating buyer personas using Google Analytics, entertainment industry benchmarking tools (Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists), Facebook Ad Manager, Google Trends, and social media insights. These efforts resulted in a growth in our social media following of over 500% in 7 months, an increase in newsletter subscribers of 300%, and an increase in monthly listeners of 700%. I gained experience running ad campaigns by taking advantage of A/B testing and demographic features based on these established consumer personas. I was responsible for writing press releases and assembling press kits which resulted in receiving press from credible voices in music (Cleveland Scene, Independent Music News, Words for Music). I enhanced our digital presence through social media efforts and organic SEO resulting in a Google Knowledge Panel. I was able to distribute regular newsletters which served as a means of completing an acquisition strategy for merchandise sales.
