Through my work with Tata, a consumer products start-up based in Rome, Italy hoping to bring their product to the United States, in the Fall of 2019, I gained valuable knowledge on conducting market analysis, analyzing competition, growing consumer insights, and penetrating a market using statistical regression models within Excel and R. From these insights, I was able to assemble a go-to-market strategy that forecasted TAM, SAM, and SOM as well as give pricing strategy recommendations based on levels of income and spending patterns of customers. Using the insights I generated, Tata is equipped to penetrate western markets.
